Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Gets Early April Release Date, Adds an Endgame Hub for Players to Gather

Capcom has unveiled preliminary details for Monster Hunter Wilds' first significant patch, slated for early April. Following the game's launch, Capcom detailed Title Update 1 (TU1) on Steam. The early April release, just over a month post-launch, will allow players ample time to prepare for the upcoming content and challenges.

TU1 introduces a formidable new monster, exceeding even the difficulty of Tempered monsters. Capcom urges players to prepare their equipment and resolve.

A noteworthy addition is a new endgame gathering hub. This social space, accessible after completing the main story, allows hunters to meet, communicate, share meals, and more. While the feature is welcomed by some, others question its absence at launch. It resembles the Gathering Hubs from previous titles, although Capcom hasn't used that terminology here. This new area aims to address the current lack of a dedicated social hub within the game's existing camp system.

Concurrent with the TU1 announcement, Capcom released a troubleshooting guide in response to mixed Steam reviews.

For those embarking on their Monster Hunter Wilds journey, various guides are available, covering hidden game mechanics, weapon types, a walkthrough, multiplayer gameplay, and beta character transfer.

IGN's review awarded Monster Hunter Wilds an 8/10, praising its improved accessibility while noting a lack of substantial challenge.
