The Steam Next Fest demo, however, settled the debate. The game received overwhelmingly negative feedback. Critics cited outdated combat, graphics, and overall design choices strongly suggestive of a mobile game port. Even if not a direct port, the game's visuals are reminiscent of a 2010 release.
While some positive reviews exist on the Steam page, their similarity and overly enthusiastic tone raise questions about their authenticity. Are they bots, or are they the same optimists who persist in believing the final product will be better? Only time will tell.
"Game of Thrones: Kingsroad" is slated for release on PC (Steam) and mobile platforms, though a specific release date is yet to be announced.
