Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!
Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)
This in-person event, inspired by the Unova region games, will take place in Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei City's Metropolitan Park.
Trainers can explore themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade), catch region-specific Pokémon, and encounter Shiny Meloetta via Masterwork Research. Shiny variants of Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others will be available through egg hatching. Keep an eye out for Shiny Pikachu with unique headwear via Field Research!
Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses, Druddigon in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott in One-Star Raids, all with increased Shiny rates.
Tickets are available now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei). Add-ons offer extra rewards, such as 5,000 XP after completing a raid. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8). Booths and team lounges will provide merchandise and relaxation areas.
A global version, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will run March 1-2, offering free Unova exploration for all trainers.
Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)
This citywide adventure will hit Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
Ticket holders will join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery. You'll start with a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee; evolving it (25 candy) keeps the hat. The Eevee Explorers Expedition nets a second hatted Eevee.
Expect Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and more in the wild. Eggs will contain Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu styles), Swablu, and Skiddo, with location-specific Pokémon also appearing. Maps will be provided, and Pikachu/Eevee visors (while supplies last) will help you explore Hong Kong or São Paulo.
Tickets cost R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong. Add-ons are available for extra items and increased Shiny encounter chances.
