Unlocking the Practical Pockets Map treasure in Avowed is surprisingly straightforward, once you have the map itself from The Gifted Magpie shop. This guide provides clear directions to easily locate the chest.
The treasure is situated northeast of the Emerald Stair Ranger Headquarters, as shown on the map above. Fast travel to the Rolling Crags Beacon. From there, turn right and proceed directly forward, keeping the Ranger Headquarters to your right. Continuously monitor your map to ensure you stay on course. The chest is located at the edge of a cliff, so be mindful of the drop-off.
Once you reach the marked location, look down. You'll spot the glowing orange Practical Pockets treasure chest. Inside, you'll find Hjilde’s Handy Hide, a unique light armor piece with the following attributes:
- Damage Reduction: 10%
- Additional Damage Reduction: 22
- Maximum Stamina: -20
- Maximum Essence: -20
- All Seasons ability: -10% incoming Fire, Frost, and Shock Damage
- Survivor ability: +40 Maximum Health
