The Samsung 990 Evo Plus is a top-tier drive for your gaming PC and PlayStation 5. It easily surpasses Sony's minimum speed requirements for the PS5, boasting read speeds up to 7,250 MB/s and write speeds up to 6,300 MB/s. While not quite as fast as the 990 Pro, it's considerably faster than the standard 990 Evo. The key difference? This drive is DRAM-less. For PS5 gaming, this makes absolutely no difference.
