Housemarque's latest creation, Saros, was unveiled at the State of Play in February 2025. This highly anticipated game is slated for release on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro in 2026. Saros is poised to build upon the gripping gameplay of Housemarque's previous hit, Returnal, and will introduce players to the compelling character Arjun Devraj, brought to life by Hollywood actor Rahul Kohli.
Come Back Stronger
The development of Saros aims to let Returnal stand out on its own, according to Housemarque’s creative director Gregory Louden. Saros will launch as a distinct intellectual property (IP) that enhances Returnal's narrative and gameplay elements. While Returnal offered a dynamic, ever-changing roguelike experience across various biomes, Saros will introduce permanent and evolving loadouts, including weapons and suits. This new feature encourages players to "Come Back Stronger," enabling them to overcome any challenges they encounter.
An extended gameplay reveal is scheduled for later in 2025, giving fans more to look forward to as the release date approaches.
