Fortnite's latest Story Quests send you on a comet-hunting adventure! While most challenges are straightforward (like damaging opponents at various POIs), finding comet traces in the mountains presents a unique challenge. Here's how to efficiently complete this task.
During the third stage of The Spirit Realm Quests, you'll need to locate three comet traces within a mountainous region southwest of the map. To maximize efficiency, head to the mountain just south of Warrior's Watch. This area conveniently clusters two traces on the mountain behind the POI, and another nearby on a separate peak. However, due to the popularity of these XP-rich quests, landing directly on the mountain at the start of a match is often crowded. A better strategy is to land at Warrior's Watch, loot up, and then proceed to the mountain.
The traces are subtly marked; they glow faintly white and display a magnifying glass icon only when you’re quite close. To avoid getting lost or ambushed, use your map to mark your target before approaching each trace.
