Pokémon Home version 3.2.2 introduces Shiny Keldeo and Shiny Meltan, but obtaining them requires completing specific Pokédex entries. While challenging, acquiring Shiny Keldeo is especially rewarding, as it was previously unobtainable legitimately and Shiny-locked.
Once acquired, these Shiny Pokémon can be transferred to other compatible Pokémon games linked to your Home account.
How to Get Shiny Keldeo in Pokémon Home

To obtain Shiny Keldeo, you must complete the Galar Pokédex in Pokémon Sword & Shield, including entries from the Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra DLCs. Crucially, Pokémon must possess the Galar origin mark (a slanted Poké Ball icon above their stats) to register. Completing the Pokédexes within Sword & Shield itself is insufficient.
After completing the Galar Pokédex, select the three-line menu icon, then "Mystery Gift" to receive Shiny Keldeo. There's no deadline for claiming it.
How to Get Shiny Meltan in Pokémon Home
Similarly, Shiny Meltan is unlocked by completing the Kanto Pokédex in Pokémon Home using Pokémon marked with the Let's Go marker (a Pikachu silhouette above stats). These Pokémon must originate from Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee. Claim Shiny Meltan via the Mystery Gift option after completing the Pokédex. There is no deadline.
Troubleshooting Pokédex Registration Issues
Some mobile users experience Pokédex registration problems. To resolve this, clear your Pokémon Home app cache: Open the app, tap the three-line menu icon in the top-right corner, select "Clear Cache," and confirm. This action won't delete your game data.
