Following the release of Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Koei Tecmo unleashes another exciting title, Warriors: Abyss, a fresh take on the musou genre. This new roguelite, featuring familiar faces from the Warriors series, is available now.

Showcased during today's PlayStation State of Play, Warriors: Abyss allows players to assemble a squad of iconic characters and battle through relentless waves of enemies. The isometric perspective, reminiscent of Diablo and the acclaimed roguelite Hades, provides a unique visual experience.

Players will assemble a team to confront the forces of "hell," engaging in combat against demonic foes. The gameplay footage revealed characters from across the Warriors franchise, including Zhou Yu, Nobunaga Oda, and Sun Shang Xiang.

PlayAccording to the PlayStation Blog, characters can be recruited and added to your team, providing additional summoning abilities. Players can utilize up to seven active heroes in battle, with a roster of 100 warriors available at launch.

Koei Tecmo plans to expand the character roster with additions from the Jin kingdom in Dynasty Warriors, and has hinted at further expansions, possibly even including characters from outside the Warriors series.

Warriors: Abyss is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A Nintendo Switch release is slated for February 13, 2025. Players who purchase the game before March 14, 2025, will receive an in-game Dynasty Warriors Costume Set.
