Genshin Impact's Version 5.4: Unveiling Yumemizuki Mizuki
Version 5.4 of Genshin Impact introduces Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst character from Inazuma. Mizuki's design and abilities have been heavily speculated upon, with leaks finally confirmed in the Version 5.4 beta. She fills a similar niche to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities, making her a valuable asset, particularly in Taser team compositions.
Mizuki's official reveal, slightly delayed from initial expectations, showcased her dual identity as a tapir yokai and a psychologist, owner of the Aisa Bathhouse. Her close friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction will coincide with Version 5.4's Inazuma-based Flagship Event, centered around yokai and featuring Yae Miko prominently. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also planned for this update.

Unlike the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 offers a more streamlined experience. It includes only one new character, a single Story Quest, and no new Artifact Domain or map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem rewards will be lower than usual. Players aiming for Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley should strategically save their Primogems, particularly those earned during the Lantern Rite event.
