Pusoy, a popular Filipino card game demanding both strategy and skill, now comes in an offline version. This engaging game lets you experience the thrill of traditional Pusoy (or Chinese Poker) anytime, anywhere, without needing an internet connection. Ideal for social gatherings or solo play against AI opponents, this offline version faithfully recreates the rules and competitive spirit of the original game, blending strategy, chance, and skill.
Gameplay Overview:
Pusoy uses a standard 52-card deck and is played by 2 to 4 players. The objective is to arrange your 13 cards into three poker-style hands:
- Front Hand: A 3-card hand.
- Middle Hand: A 5-card hand.
- Back Hand: A 5-card hand, which must be the strongest of the three.
Players aim for the strongest combinations in each hand to outscore their opponents. Hand rankings follow standard poker rules (e.g., Straight, Flush, Full House).
Key Features:
- Single-Player Mode: Play against AI opponents with varying difficulty levels.
- Intuitive Interface: Enjoy drag-and-drop card sorting for easy hand management. Clear visual cues highlight hand rankings and valid combinations. A tutorial guides beginners through the rules.
- Customizable Rules: Choose from common Pusoy variations (e.g., Pusoy Dos) and different scoring systems. Optional special rules, like awarding bonuses for high-ranking hands (Four of a Kind or Straight Flush), are available.
- Scoring System: Automatic score calculation based on hand strength and wins. A detailed points breakdown is provided after each round.
- AI Opponents: Intelligent AI simulates real opponents with strategic gameplay. Difficulty ranges from beginner to expert.
- Offline Accessibility: No internet connection is needed for smooth gameplay anytime, anywhere. Save and resume games at any point.
- Visuals and Sounds: High-quality graphics create a realistic card game experience. Engaging sound effects and optional background music enhance gameplay.
