Application Description

Introducing our versatile portable media player, which also functions as a UPnP DLNA Digital Media Renderer (DMR). This innovative device supports a wide range of subtitle formats, including full-featured SSA/ASS, as well as SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) formats, starting from version 5.1. Users have the flexibility to manage and add their own font files, adjust the font size, and even dim SSA/ASS subtitles to enhance visibility during HDR and Dolby Vision (DV) playback, which offers higher contrast and brightness.

Subtitles can be embedded within MKV files or loaded externally. You can select a single subtitle file or use a package in Zip/7Z/RAR format during playback, making it easy to customize your viewing experience. The player supports HDR/DV content, ensuring stunning visuals, and features digital audio passthrough for an immersive sound experience. Navigation through MKV chapters, frame by frame stepping, audio track selection and delay, as well as subtitles selection and time offset, are all at your fingertips. Additionally, the player displays the frame rate and automatically adjusts the refresh rate for optimal viewing.

Dolby Vision playback has been successfully tested on the NVidia Shield TV 2019, and the player allows for on-demand video rotation and full-screen zooming via pinch gestures. Originally designed for segmented files playback, this player supports m3u8 (HLS media list) format, which was initially designed for TS files but now also accommodates mp4 and flv files.

What's New in the Latest Version 4.3.1

Last updated on Feb 26, 2023

Please be noticed: This app must run in the foreground before DLNA projecting in some Android systems.

The latest version brings several enhancements and fixes, including improvements in subtitles auto-selection, resolving the first chapter 0:00 issue, and adapting to new systems. Users can now set the default language for subtitles in the selection box and easily pick a subtitle file directly from the Storage Access Framework (SAF) content page. This can be sourced from local storage, Samba/Windows sharing, or WebDAV clients, which are SAF content provider apps of your choice. Efforts have also been made to fix a DMR service crash bug, ensuring smoother operation.
