Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game
Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a collaboration with the BIG Festival, featuring a prestigious presentation of winners across various categories.
The awards process involved a panel of 49 judges selecting finalists from 13 categories. All nominees were playable on the show floor, a notable inclusion of mobile games alongside PC titles, highlighting the significant role of mobile gaming.
The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award was presented to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a deserving winner, previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known exceptional games. This win underscores the game's growing recognition.
