Firaxis Games has revealed its post-launch roadmap for Civilization VII (Civ 7), detailing upcoming content following the game's February 11th release. The roadmap includes both paid DLC and free updates.

The developers also highlighted several features initially planned for launch but postponed. These include:

  • Adding teams to multiplayer games
  • Increasing the maximum number of players in multiplayer to eight
  • Allowing players to select starting and ending ages
  • Introducing a wider variety of map types
  • Implementing hotseat multiplayer

While release dates for these features are unavailable, Firaxis assures players that development is underway.
