Paradox Interactive has unveiled an exciting roadmap for Crusader Kings III in 2025 under the banner of Chapter IV, which focuses on expanding the game's reach into Asia with new mechanics and regions to explore.

The journey begins with the release of the cosmetic DLC, Crowns of the World. This elegant pack introduces six crowns, four hairstyles, and two beards, offering players more ways to customize their rulers and add a personal touch to their gameplay experience.

The first major expansion, Khans of the Steppe, is set to launch on April 28. This DLC lets players take command of the Mongols, assuming the role of the Great Khan. You'll lead a nomadic horde, conquering lands and establishing dominance over neighboring territories, bringing a fresh and dynamic gameplay experience to the forefront.

Following this, the Coronations DLC will introduce a new ceremonial mechanic in Q3 (July–September). Players can legitimize their reign through grand coronation events, which involve hosting extravagant festivities, making solemn vows, and choosing the path of their kingdom. This expansion also includes new advisor and vassal events, enhancing political interactions and adding depth to royal succession.

The chapter culminates with the massive expansion, All Under Heaven, slated for release later in 2025. This expansion will feature the entire East Asian map, including detailed representations of China, Korea, Japan, and the Indonesian islands. Players will have vast new territories to explore and conquer, significantly expanding the scope of their Crusader Kings III adventures.

Throughout the year, Paradox will continue to enhance the game with patches that refine game systems and AI behavior. The developers are committed to incorporating player feedback to shape future updates, with the next Q&A session scheduled for March 26.
