Disney Mirrorverse Ends Service This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the end-of-service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024. The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months of remaining playtime before the servers are permanently closed.

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse offered players the chance to battle alongside reimagined Disney and Pixar heroes. Kabam advises players to complete the remaining storyline before the game's closure.

Despite initial excitement, the game's two-year early access period and infrequent content updates contributed to player attrition. The resource-intensive shard collection system also proved challenging, requiring significant investment for character maximization. However, the game's character designs consistently garnered praise for their creativity and visual appeal.

The abrupt EOS announcement, following the recent addition of Cinderella and new story content, surprised many players. This isn't Kabam's first game closure; they previously shut down Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off.
