"Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Full PC Specs Revealed"

Square Enix has recently updated the PC specifications for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, setting the bar high for gamers looking to experience the game in stunning 4K resolution. The company now recommends using a high-end graphics card with 12GB to 16GB of VRAM to fully enjoy the game's visuals on a 4K monitor. This update comes just two weeks before the much-anticipated PC launch of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, nearly a year after its initial release on the PlayStation 5.

In addition to the VRAM requirements, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will leverage advanced technologies such as Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) upscaling, ShaderModel 6.6 support, and DirectX 12 Ultimate on PC. These features are designed to enhance the game's performance and visual fidelity, making it a compelling choice for PC gamers.

The updated PC specifications also include a requirement for 64-bit versions of Windows 10 or 11, 155 GB of storage space on an SSD, and at least 16GB of RAM. On the processor front, Square Enix recommends a multi-core CPU like the Ryzen 5 5600 or higher. While Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth received a PS5 Pro enhancement patch in November, allowing it to take advantage of Sony's upgraded console, the game will not receive any additional DLC content. Square Enix has shifted its focus to the development of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, and fans are encouraged to stay tuned for future updates.

Game director Naoki Hamaguchi has highlighted the PC version's exclusive upgrades in lighting, shaders, and textures, which are expected to provide a visually superior experience compared to the PS5 version. However, it's unclear whether these enhancements will eventually be ported to the PS5.

Although Square Enix had previously mentioned optimizing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for the Steam Deck, no recent updates have been provided on this front. With the PC release scheduled for January 23, fans won't have to wait much longer to dive into the world of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on their computers.
