The creators of Project Mugen have finally unveiled their game's title: Ananta. Development is progressing steadily toward a full release.

Early promotional material for Ananta has generated significant buzz, thanks to its unique blend of popular game elements. It incorporates features reminiscent of Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's release has been greenlit in China, with a projected launch in 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A trailer released on December 5th showcased Ananta as an open-world urban RPG. Players will assume the role of an A.C.D. agent operating in Nova, a sun-kissed coastal city brimming with mystery and adventure.

This ambitious, large-scale project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its global appeal stems from its familiar environments infused with a compelling supernatural element.

Key highlights of Ananta (formerly Project Mugen) include four-player team-based combat, a striking art style, and exhilarating high-speed movement.
