Digimon COLOR: Monster Hunter 20th Edition – Pre-orders Open, Global Release Uncertain
To mark two decades of Monster Hunter, Capcom's renowned action RPG series has teamed up with Digimon to release the "Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition" – a special edition of the popular handheld digital pet device. This commemorative release features designs based on the iconic Rathalos and Zinogre, priced at 7,700 Yen (approximately $53.2 USD) excluding shipping and import fees.
These limited-edition V-Pets boast a color LCD screen, UV printing, and a rechargeable battery. Familiar features include customizable backgrounds and the "Cold Mode," temporarily pausing monster growth, hunger, and strength. A backup system ensures your progress is safe.
Currently, pre-orders are exclusively available through Bandai's Japanese online store. International buyers should be aware of potential additional shipping costs.
Unfortunately, there's no word yet on a global release. Demand is already high, with reports of sell-outs shortly after the announcement.
