Intriguingly, the ESRB rating for Silent Hill f was assigned approximately two months earlier than the rating for the Silent Hill 2 Remake. Given that the remake received its rating in April 2023 and launched in September 2023, this suggests a potential Q3 2025 release for Silent Hill f, possibly in July or August.
Konami's active marketing campaign further supports the theory of an imminent release. Such detailed reveals are uncommon for games still years from launch, hinting at a closer-than-expected release window.
The age rating also revealed crucial gameplay elements. Silent Hill f will feature a melee-focused combat system, utilizing axes, crowbars, knives, and spears. Firearms are notably absent.
