The destruction of this once-vibrant magical city during The War Within is mourned through the Dalaran Epilogue questline, providing a fitting farewell to a cherished hub from Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

How to Start the Patch 11.1 Prologue
The Lingering Shadows campaign, unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, is immediately accessible. You don't need to have finished the leveling or Level 80 campaigns, but catching up on the story beforehand will enrich your understanding and prevent spoilers. The campaign includes the following quests:

- No Breathing Room
- Together, Alone
- The Voice
- Ringing in the Deeps
- Good Help These Days

After completing Found Friends, don't miss the chance to speak with Orweyna. Her quest, while not part of the main campaign, sheds light on plot points that may resurface in future updates for The War Within or in other World Soul Saga expansions.
How to Start Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
Upon the patch's release, the Dalaran Epilogue was initially time-gated for three weeks. As of January 7th, this restriction has been lifted, allowing immediate access to the questline. To unlock it, you must complete both the leveling campaign for The War Within and the Level 80 campaign, requiring at least Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions.
To check your eligibility, head to Foundation Hall, the starting point for Patch 11.1 prologue quests. If Khadgar is present, you can receive the quest from him starting January 7th or later. His absence indicates remaining campaign quests to complete. The Dalaran Epilogue quest list includes:
