Digimon's latest venture into the mobile gaming world, Digimon Alysion, was unveiled during DIGIMON CON 2025, sparking excitement among fans. This new mobile trading card game (TCG) is set to redefine the franchise's presence in the digital space, following the footsteps of successful titles like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap. Digimon Alysion promises to be a free-to-play experience where players can amass a collection of cards featuring beloved Digimon and characters, craft their decks, and engage in thrilling battles with opponents. Digimon Story: Time Stranger boasts an expansive roster of over 450 Digimon, surpassing its predecessor, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory, which featured 330 Digimon. The new trailer highlighted some fan-favorites such as Angewomon, Gallantmon, and Agumon, adding to the anticipation. The narrative revolves around time-travel, with players selecting between two protagonists, Dan Yuki and Kanan Yuki, who are secret agents for ADAMAS, tasked with uncovering threats to both humans and Digimon. Accompanying them on their journey is the main heroine, Inori Misono, alongside her partner Aegiomon.
The event also featured several other announcements, including a promotional video celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Digimon Anime, new starter decks and booster packs for the Digimon Trading Card Game, and the announcement of a new anime series, Digimon Beatbreak, set to premiere in October 2025.
