S-Tier

S Rank units in Tribe Nine

Five characters reign supreme in the S-tier. Tsuruko Semba, however, arguably stands out. This support unit delivers substantial damage while simultaneously boosting your team. Her ultimate, Invigorating Surge, applies the Turning Tides buff to the entire party while also attacking enemies. Despite her support role, her fluid movement makes her a surprisingly effective damage dealer.

Miu Jujo, an exceptional Attacker, excels with her ability to deploy Luminous Crystals, inflicting damage over time (DoT) on nearby enemies. Combined with her powerful ultimate and high speed, she expertly dodges enemy attacks, making her a formidable damage dealer.

Q, a Tank unit, boasts high Break Ability and potent attacks. His Fighting Will stacks enhance his damage output, synergizing exceptionally well with Tsuruko Semba and an Attacker.

Minami Oi, despite being a 2-star unit, shines as a healer with a versatile drone capable of both healing and aggressive attacks. This hybrid DPS role adds significant damage, making her incredibly useful. While her damage isn't overwhelming, her ranged attacks and ease of use make her ideal for newer players.

Enoki Yukigaya is another top-tier Attacker. She utilizes Heat stacks gained through combos and counterattacks to unleash devastating special skills.

A-Tier

Eiji Todoroki is a strong A-tier Attacker with impressive offensive skills and sustain abilities. His Brilliant Me! skill reduces damage taken by 25% while My Turn to Shine! is active, crucial given he becomes a primary target during this period.

Jio Takinogawa provides solid tanking capabilities, taunting enemies and reducing incoming damage. However, his limited damage output places him below S-tier. He remains a reliable option, especially for beginners.

Yo Kuronaka, the protagonist, offers surprisingly good performance with high Break Ability. His somewhat awkward moveset and lower damage compared to S-tier units may hinder some players, but he's still worth considering.

B-Tier

Roku Saigo and Koishi Kohinata occupy the B-tier. Roku, a Fighter with moderate damage, lacks standout abilities. Koishi, a free starting Healer, serves as a decent early-game support but should be replaced with a stronger Healer when available.

Yutaka Gotanda, Tsuki Iroha, and Hyakuichitaro Senju form the C-tier. While not entirely useless, their lackluster abilities limit their effectiveness in the late game. Tsuki Iroha is a free unit, but Koishi Kohinata is a preferable alternative. Yutaka Gotanda offers passable Tanking, and Hyakuichitaro Senju is an average damage dealer.
