Application Description

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an engaging real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that thrives on competitive player-versus-player (PvP) action. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join in the fray, where they can control various units and buildings, offering a high degree of freedom in gameplay.

Main Elements:

WOE immerses players in the medieval ages, simulating 18 powerful Empires or civilizations, ranging from China and Japan to Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, and Maya, among others. Each Empire comes equipped with 8 types of regular units and 1 unique unit, adding diversity and strategic depth. The regular units, consistent across all Empires, include:

  1. Swordsman: A versatile and common unit.
  2. Pikeman: Effective against Cavalry but susceptible to arrows.
  3. Archers: They have the upper hand over Pikemen but are vulnerable to Cavalry.
  4. Light Cavalry: Known for fast movement and high mobility, ideal for harassing enemies.
  5. Aries: Specialized in attacking buildings.

Buildings play a crucial role, with structures like Towers, Turrets, Castles, and Blacksmith shops each serving specific functions. For instance, a Tower, when manned by 5 farmers, can unleash a volley of 6 arrows, while Turrets are key for demolishing enemy buildings.

Each Empire in WOE has its unique strengths and weaknesses, encouraging players to delve deeper into the game to understand each civilization's nuances. Here's a glimpse into two Empires:

  1. Huns: They don't require housing, saving time, and their Cavalry is 20% cheaper and can be upgraded to Rangers.
  2. Teutonic: Boasting powerful but slow-moving warriors, reminiscent of Spartan fighters.

Highlights:

The essence of WOE lies in juggling multiple tasks simultaneously within a match. Players must focus on:

  1. Developing the Economy: Maximizing farmer production and resource collection, using structures like the Town Center (TC) and Towers as temporary shelters.
  2. Harassing Enemies: Early game tactics involve deploying small units to disrupt enemy farmers, gaining an edge.
  3. Destroying Enemies: The ultimate goal of overpowering the opposition.

Teamwork and understanding unit counters are paramount. Players need to recognize and leverage unit strengths and weaknesses, such as Pikemen restraining Cavalry, Cavalry overpowering Archers, and so forth.

Game Modes:

Resources in WOE include Food and Gold, and as players progress, they can upgrade their civilization from the Dark Ages through to the Feudal, Castle, and Emperor Eras, unlocking new technologies, buildings, and units. The game offers various modes, with the Normal and Imperial Deathmatch Modes being particularly popular:

  1. Normal Mode: Focuses on development with limited resources. Early harassment is key, making this mode both challenging and enjoyable.
  2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Players start in the Emperor Era with ample resources, allowing for immediate, intense battles.

Main Features:

With four years of operation in China and numerous updates leading to version 1.8.n, WOE offers a robust set of features including:

  1. Player vs. CPU battles
  2. Network play for seamless multiplayer action
  3. Spectator mode to watch matches
  4. Replay functionality for reviewing games
  5. Map creation for custom experiences
  6. Legion system for organized team play
  7. Friend lists to connect with other players
  8. Chat functions for in-game communication

WOE is a testament to the rich and intricate world of RTS gaming, offering a deep strategic experience for mobile gamers worldwide.
