This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, the project lead, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, shared exciting updates on the features that fans are eagerly requesting for the game, which ones will be implemented, and to what degree these features will be integrated.

In InZOI, players will have the innovative ability to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, already highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to become even more user-friendly, as Kjun emphasized the goal to simplify the zoi creation process further. Additionally, while not available during the early access phase, players will eventually be able to have their own pets within the game. This feature is particularly close to Kjun's heart, given his love for animals.
The game's environment will include tall buildings, with a cap at 30 floors. Although the game engine supports higher constructions, this limitation is set to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential issues. InZOI will also feature gas stations and introduce a more dynamic combat system. Initially, the slap mechanic from early previews was deemed too shallow by players. Responding to this feedback, Kjun has ensured that the game will now include full-fledged fights, complete with clear winners and losers, enhancing the gameplay experience significantly.
To cater to newcomers unfamiliar with the genre, InZOI will include a comprehensive tutorial. This thoughtful addition reflects the developers' commitment to making the game accessible and enjoyable for all players. As of now, Krafton is set to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays anticipated.
